Our Desserts

What makes our frozen, premium desserts a cut above the rest?
It’s the combination of the highest quality ingredients and uncompromising quality.


We use a high percentage of REAL cream cheese, butter, dairy cream, Belgian chocolate, cage-free eggs, authentic Mascarpone cheese, etc.

The Gelatin we use is both Kosher and Halal certified. It is derived from Bovine (Beef). For a complete list of products that contain our edible Kosher Gelatin,

We are pleased to inform you that all desserts produced out of our bakery in Sherwood Park are now Halal certified. This includes all private label desserts.

The ONLY EXCEPTIONS are the following:

  • all alcohol-based desserts are not Halal certified: Strawberry Champagne Cheesecake, Irish cream Cheesecake, Rum and Eggnog Cheesecake, and Cherry Whisky Cheesecake.

  • Our loaves, some seasonal, and some sheetcakes are also exempt for Halal certification.

Certifications:

We are BRGS Food Safety certificated, BRGS Gluten-Free certificated, AIB, AVA, and Halal certified.

We stand behind products that participate in sustainability programs worldwide and we support our local farmers by purchasing Canadian wherever possible:

  • Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese

  • Lactancia Butter, 100% Farm Fresh Canadian Dairy (Lactalis Canada)

  • Hershey

  • Golden Boy Peanut Butter

  • Callebaut Belgian Chocolate (finest Belgian chocolate, supports sustainable cocoa cultivation)

  • Frozen Wild Blueberries, Grade A Canadian

  • Dried Blueberries, Northern Quebec, Canada

  • Sugar produced in Canada (Lantic / Rogers)

  • Robin Hood flour from Ardent Mills, partnering with farmers to help grow crops

  • Honey from local farmers (Three Hills, Alberta, Canada)
    10% Canadian origin


Scratch-made, secret recipes!

Our chocolate icing, chocolate ganache, custard (found in some of our cheesecakes), mousses, glazes, cream cheese icing and caramel are made in-house using our own recipes. We even make our own condensed milk in our caramel!

  • We also use homemade eggnog in our famous Rum and Eggnog Cheesecake.

  • Our Harvest Pumpkin Cheesecake uses real pumpkin puree.

  • Our Tiramisu Sheet Cake and Tiramisu Cheesecake uses homemade coffee syrop and French roast coffee.

We also use Callebaut’s Finest Belgian Chocolate in our desserts. Manufactured and imported from Belgium, Barry Callebaut chocolate is deemed as one of the finest chocolate makers in the world, and one of the largest. Chocolatiers since 1850, Callebaut’s chocolate is made in Belgium’s oldest cocoa roasteries and is made from the best, sustainable cocoa beans of West Africa.


Shelf-Life:

WOW! frozen desserts have a 365-days-from-production-date shelf life when kept frozen and shrink wrapped, and a 3-5 day shelf life when thawed and refrigerated.

PLEASE NOTE: Some individual desserts should be served within 24 hours of thawing for optimum presentation.


Environmentally Conscious:

We are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

In addition to being hand-folded by our Robin Hood team, every box we use is made from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified Paper. That means that every box is made from 100% Recycled Content and is 100% Recyclable.

Innovations to our schrink-wrap machine will save us 7.5km of packaging annually.
